It is really interesting to see how the Lord has brought Matt to work at Select Church Insurance Services, Inc. He has a heart to serve God who has lead him to his present position.
Matt graduated from Christian Life College with a degree in Biblical Studies and spent most of his college years working in the church he had been attending for several years. Matt started a young adult group at the church and volunteered his time to keep the group active. He also has had the privilege of leading several foreign short term mission trips.
After college, Matt worked as a high school substitute teacher in a special education classroom for students with behavior and emotional disorders. The students in the class were at varying levels of need. The biggest challenge in the position was to help create a curriculum, which individually fit each student. Matt enjoyed teaching even though the job was very challenging.
Matt decided to pursue an opening at an insurance agency which sold home and auto insurance. Matt soon realized he really enjoyed the insurance business. After a couple of years at this position, he felt God was calling him to look for a new opportunity where he could use his spiritual gifts in combination with his interest in the insurance business.
Select Church Insurance Services, Inc. is a great fit for Matt. Seeing how God has bridged his past experience with churches and his knowledge of the insurance business is exciting. He enjoys being able to help churches become better stewards with their insurance coverage and premium dollars.
Matt and his wife, Brittany, attend a non-denominational church in the northwest suburbs where they serve together in the ministry for high school students.
